A native from St. Louis, Missouri, I started my career at Webster University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in advertising and marketing with an emphasis in graphic design. While in St. Louis I worked for several design agencies as well as started a couple of design companies working with clients such as Dial Soap, AT&T, and many more. Later had the opportunity to purchase a company called the Pride Pages in 2010. The longest-lasting business directory since 1994 connecting the LGBTQ community to businesses in the St. Louis area. I was able to flip the company around making it profitable once again by overhauling the website’s look and feel and creating a killer UX. Additionally, I designed the Pride Pages’ mobile app for both iOS and Android as well as increasing sales through social media engagement. In 2013, I successfully sold the Pride Pages to allow for new ventures.
I later moved to San Francisco to continue my education in web design at the Academy of Art University. Throughout the years, I have worked as a creative/art director and UX designer for companies such as Apartment List, Elementum, TidePool, Intel, Wells Fargo, NIKEiD, Dancing with the Stars, Charlotte Russ, MerryMedia, Ellen Degeneres, Olivia Travel, and many more.
Currently, I am working at a company called, Chronicled on the design team. I was hired to lead the design efforts and build out Chronicled’s platform using blockchain technology that brings security and transparency to our customers in supply chain industries like responsible gold, pharmaceuticals, and many more. Creating innovative and strategic UI/UX designs for both web, mobile web, and native applications.
